Things starting to click??

I've read several interviews of top pros, all of them speaking about some sort of point when poker started to click with them, an epiphany, satori or zen like moment!

Well I'm by no means born again, but the last month to 6 weeks have definitely seen me take my game to another level, and it has nothing to do with the fundamentals, pot odd's are still pot odd's and the number of possible outs are the same!

BUT......On a mentality level, in terms of confidence in my game, dealing with variance and money management, I HAVE IMPROVED SO MUCH.

I have had great results last few weeks, several very decent scores from sessions at the local no limit cash game, 3rd and joint first chop two Thursdays in a row at the local deepstack tourney. 2nd in the betfair $5k GTD, and online cash feels like my own ATM at the moment (my own atm atm) in online speak :P

Yes I have ran good, yes my AK has beat KK in a key pot (sorry stu :) and my A9 has beat KK on the same night (sorry kev, but not as much as i had 30k and it was 5BB more to call, as dalson says, "I HAD TI CALL) :P

But I am playing well, not really getting a rush of cards, but I am making good decisions and have a great feel and read on where I am in hands just now.

Next week is the Aberdeen International Open, I will definitely be playing the Thursday and Sunday game. Saturday is dependent on purely how I feel and result on the Thursday, I have learned not to go chasing rainbows (Copyright ZORRO) in large buy in tourneys. Not when I can make so much from cash :D

I hope my heater continues, because as in life, variance is a bitch ;)

Good Luck at the tables

P.S (A special good luck to all the boys down in Teeside this weekend, surely one of you should bubble atleast :D) xxxx
